Only one Monday to go...

What?? Do I LOOK busy??
Ok-ok, I suppose I could update my blog anyway. And actually just take a few minutes on this second last Monday and think and do something else (but when you will be reading this, this Monday is long gone…).

Well, how far am I then in the process?
I had my life longest leaving-party this passed Saturday – starting from 16-01, thou we stayed till around 04… I don’t think it was people, drinks or cozy atmosphere that was missing this night. On the absolute contrary! The party was held in The Flat (www.theflat.be) and I had literally rented the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Thou we during the day enjoyed the drinks in the little back-yard.
I would just on the same note like to thank everyone who came, I am glad that so many of you made it around and had a last drink with me (thou, we all know that I’ll remain alcoholic for the rest of the time here now – better get used to that headache too…). On the other hand I know I might not see you all again despite more 'last drinks', so I was very happy to have seen you then! J (and also, I did mean the part about Copenhagen - don’t hesitate to let me know whenever you decide to explore the steps of the Vikings ;)).
Lastly but not least, thank you very much for the pressies!!! :o))

Pictures and juicy stories will follow…

Who's your mama??

So, how busy was I??
I got a problem with stress, I don’t. It is a problem as I should be doing stuff and thinking and organizing and probably now run around like a headless chicken, but you know, I think I just can’t be bothered anymore. Ah well, not because moving from Belgium is something I’ve never tried before. It gotta be in me by now ;)

Sure the agenda is pretty booked. But who doesn’t have a clue about what they have to do the following week? Or approximately.

And therefore tomorrow (today, Tuesday actually) I should try and get around the packing-part. Wednesday it’s last drinks with the unit down at the pub (can’t decide which one yet…have to think about that – see? Priorities! …and I’m actually just gonna open my ToDo list and add that…just a sec…and I'm back. Hey! At least I got a list! ;)). Thursday it’s dinner Chez Jean. Friday drinks with Daniel and Lisa. And Saturday it’s the massive PopLife party in Gent (www.poplife.be). Sunday is family b-day party, and Monday almost very last drink with who ever wanna join in the Geese. I mean, the very first bar I visited gotta be the very last bar I will visit (Uh flash! Last Tuesday was the last time I was in Place St Géry!!! Maaaaan, that’s too bad! But glad I did make it then…). Tuesday’s doomed for packing, all of Tuesday. Only interrupted by the dinner in the Italian’s. And Wednesday I shall fill up the van, handover the keys (just noting on the ToDo list too…hang on *typing-typing*…It's just NOT cool to be heading from Hamburg to Puttgarden realizing I forgot that). I shall then be getting in to my car, and have the moving-men to stop at random GB’s and Delhaizes to rib them for all the beers, and following Neuhaus, of course. Well, basically any whole or empty space in the van will be filled up. Then I’d like to pass Atonium and take a picture. You know, I was actually here… Check. I shall then be waking up in my apartment back home in Copenhagen Thursday… Woah, that’s so weird. I’m mean, I have done this before, but you know, this time it’s like serious. Very exciting!
And just one big missing thing the last two Sundays?? The sea!! Hangover and beach!!! If you’re lucky you only have to stand up in 30 minutes on a packed train heading to the sea in the weekends, or be stuck in a two-hour queue on the highway – cos EVERYBODY always have the same brilliant idea when there’s a bit of sun in this country! And only 200kms of beach doesn’t give 10 million people a lot of choices. I went to Holland thou. But when you only feel like crawling down to your car and be awake while driving, you need maximum 20 minutes drive. Not this Sunday, but next Sunday, I will be lying all day at the beach. Yes, and if it rains I will bring an umbrella!!
I can go on for a long time about all these thoughts, but sure even a Viking needs his sleep.

So, goody guys, I’m off to bed (ToDo list: *typing Sleep*).
My two flatties are already long gone. Wow, 01:48...Some things never change.. Better go joining this Wonderland!
(One great thing about not stressing is that I sleep perfectly ;))
Dashing off…

BXL-CPH: Go to gate

*Ding. Ding*
"Passengers going to Copenhagen, please go to gate now - we will depart in a few minutes"...

That will be me. I'm one of the passengers.
Well, perhaps I am the passenger.

It's official! I am leaving!! Going back to Copenhagen in less than a month!
(o:o( - that's how it feels anyway. I'm thrilled and excited and deeply happy - and sad. Pretty tough mood to deal with, man! ;)

Excited to be a part of my family and friends lives again back home, but sad to not being it anymore to my family and friends down here. That's what happens when you travel I guess, huh?

Anyway, I'm not leaving without the final word, so sure a grande party is underway.. more on that later.

For now, I'm off for dinner in Gent. And I'm late. Again...

*Going into stand by-mode - thinking* (yes, thinking happens - perhaps it was the two nights of sleep in a row that's doing that to me!!)
